trying to get in the swing of things...
The kids are back in school. I have my nephew here and a few appointments, but why can't I get back into the swing of "creating?" For awhile I was making a new piece every week. I have tons of projects that I want to work on. Why can't I just pick up the brush and go? I am afraid that once I get started, someone is going to need MOMMY and I will have to stop and put things up. So I never even begin...
How do other mommy/artists do it? I get sick of doing all my art after 8pm and cutting into my "adult" time with my hubby.
Any feedback??
i'm back
i am working again. woo hoo.
feelin the favor
so I'm about to enter this contest and I was thinking, "there are so many artists in the world... and so many better than me." whine whine whine, etc. But then I thought, you know, not every artist is entering THIS contest. And then there's my Oprah theory... I mean, everyone talks, some people talk really well. And there are lots of talk shows. But what makes Oprah totally famous? You know? She found favor. That's it. She has talent, but when she was starting out, she was just like Rikki Lake and Maury Povich.
So I guess we all have the same chance. I just have to step out in faith and pray to find favor. It's gonna be awesome to
inspiration
I am feeling inspired. I need more time to create!!
Here's a question for you friends, though. I have a friend who told me that my art looks "overworked." What does that mean? I have never had any classes and I am not familiar with the term? Secondly, is he right? And finally, how do I change that?
help me please!!
